The Story Behind Victory Wealth Partners

We sat down with Ashley Rosser, second-generation owner of Victory Fiduciary Partners and daughter of founder and longtime Hill resident Bud Verfaillie, to learn more about the firm and their big move on Main Street.

Victory Wealth Partners, a financial advisory firm founded by longtime Mullica Hill resident Bud Verfaillie, has relocated from 53 North Main Street to beautifully restored offices just up the road at 70 North Main Street. While the move may be short in distance, it marks a major milestone in Victory’s journey and reflects their commitment and connection to Mullica Hill.

We sat down with Bud’s daughter, Ashley Rosser, who became sole owner and CEO of Victory in 2024, to talk about the firm’s evolution, her family’s legacy, and why staying in Mullica Hill was never up for debate.

Please tell us what Victory Wealth Partners is all about.
Ashley: Certainly! Victory Wealth Partners is a financial advisory firm founded by my father, Bud Verfaillie, more than 40 years ago. At our core, we’re committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses make smart, informed financial decisions with confidence and clarity.

We are fiduciaries, which means we are legally and ethically obligated to act in our clients’ best interests at all times. We don’t sell products or earn commissions. Instead, we offer objective advice tailored to our clients’ unique goals and needs. Every recommendation we make is driven by what’s right for the client, not what’s profitable for us.

Our services include retirement planning, investment management, and 401(k) consulting, but what truly sets us apart is our focus on building trust through education and personalized care. We take the time to explain the “why” behind every strategy so clients feel empowered, not overwhelmed. At Victory, it’s never about pushing products, it’s about being a true partner on the journey to financial security.

How long has Victory Wealth Partners called Mullica Hill home?
Ashley: We moved to Mullica Hill in 2014. My father had always dreamed of relocating Victory to the town he had lived in and supported for over 30 years, and that became a reality just over a decade ago.

What originally brought the business to Mullica Hill?
Ashley: Mullica Hill is home for our family. My dad believed in planting roots where you live, serve, and raise your children. He gave so much of his time to this community, from volunteering with church groups to coaching youth sports, he wanted his business to be a part of the community.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Mullica Hill community?
Ashley: It means everything to me. I grew up here, playing softball at Ella Harris Park, swimming for Clearview, and ice skating in the backyard rink my dad built every winter. Mullica Hill has a strong sense of family, connection, and community spirit that makes it a very special place. I’ve always loved Main Street, and to now own a building here is truly a dream come true.

Why the move to a new location?
Ashley: Last year, I officially acquired 100% of the business and began thinking about long-term growth. My vision includes serving more families and business owners who need fiduciary guidance, and that means expanding our team. We had simply outgrown our old space, and the new location gives us room to grow while staying right here in Mullica Hill.

When considering relocation, did you explore other towns?
Ashley: Leaving Mullica Hill was never a consideration. Our clients love the convenience of our location, and we love being part of this community. Since 2019, we’ve hosted annual coat drives for children in Harrison Township and sponsor scholarships for Clearview graduates. As you know, I’m a proud sponsor and contributing author for Happening in the Hill. This town is more than just the location of our office, it’s our home.

What are some of the standout features of your new building?
Ashley: It was built in the 1830s and has incredible charm and character. We’ve worked hard to create a space that feels both cozy and professional, somewhere our clients can feel at ease. The location will allow us to expand, offer new services, and continue supporting our clients on a personal level. Creating it has been a true labor of love, and we’re so proud of how it’s turned out.

What’s next for Victory Wealth Partners?
Ashley: Now that we’re settling in, we’re excited to host an open house in the fall. Our team is currently focused on enhancing the client experience and delivering even more value. And on a personal note, my son Gavin will be working here this summer, which makes it extra special. It’s so rewarding to see the next generation take an interest in our family business.

It was truly a pleasure sitting down with Ashley Rosser. Victory Wealth Partners is a shining example of a business rooted in community. Their commitment to Mullica Hill reflects the deep sense of connection that makes our town such a special place.

Thank you, Ashley, for sharing Victory’s story!
