Harrison Township Fire District #1 consist of two Companies, the Harmony Fire Company, and Ewan Fire Company. The Harmony Company, located in downtown Mullica Hill was established in 1704. The Ewan Company, located in the Ewan area of Harrison Township was established in 1947. Both companies depend on volunteer firefighters, referred to as Hometown Heroes, who proudly serve our community.

Harrison Township Fire District #1 Mission Statement
The members of Harrison Township Fire District #1 shall provide the utmost sense of security and wellbeing to the citizens, visitors, travelers, property owners and business owners of Harrison Township through programs aimed at education in Fire Prevention. The Fire District will provide fire suppression, and emergency services wherever and whenever needed to protect the people and property located within Harrison Township and our neighboring communities.
