About Us

In honor of those who have served in the United States Armed Services, the Harrison Township Veterans Commission supports veterans, their families, and survivors in our community. Many veterans are unaware of the numerous federal and state program benefits, entitlements, and services they have earned in defense of our great nation. The Veterans Commission’s role is to inform and assist veterans with medical, housing, employment, and education opportunities.

The Veterans Commission meets the second Monday of each month at 7pm in conjunction with the American Legion Post 452 meeting.

Residents can honor a Veteran with a memorial brick installed on the Memorial Walkway at. William Wilt Park. For more information and order form click here.

For information on obtaining a Gloucester County Veteran’s ID Card visit the Gloucester County Store located in the Deptford Mall or by calling 856-686-6013.
