If you are 55 years old or older and looking for ways to stay active, join the Harrison Township Active Adults 55+ group. Activities include bus trips and diverse monthly socials that will keep you hopping. Our monthly meetings include lunch, socialization venues, games and educational programs, just to name a few activities.
Harrison Township Active Adults Steering Committee are always looking to extend a welcome to new members who are looking for the opportunity to stay active and have the opportunity to get out of the house. Harrison Township is working on purchasing a new township bus, equipped with all the super comforts for your convenience. In the meantime, we are using leased bus services for our trips. You can have the opportunity to ride a variety of locations such as Peddlers Village, Lancaster, Hunterdon Hill Playhouse, Jersey Shore Pops, Cape May, diner theaters and many other points of interest that are available.
Monthly calendars are available at the links below or by visiting our Active Adult Office located Public Works Administration Office. You may also pick up the Active Adult calendars outside of the Recreation Office located in the Municipal Building Monday through Fridays, 8am – 4pm. You may also sign-up and get additional information about the year round activities by contacting Active Adult Team Coordinator, Barbara Showers at (856) 478-0824.
