Yard cart collection resumes on Tuesday, April 1. Pickups occur on the same day as your trash and recycling collection, however they will be handled by a separate truck. Yard-cart collection continues through the end of November. Please note that due to the Thanksgiving holiday the final collection for the Thursday route is November 20 and November 21 for the Friday route.
Special yard carts can be requested by calling (856) 223-1308 or emailing pwsec@harrisontwp.us.
Only the following items are permitted in your yard cart:
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Small twigs & clippings (½” diameter or less)
- Garden waste
- Organic trimmings
- Mulch
Placing any other items, such as plastic bags, dirt, bricks, or household trash, will result in your yard cart not being collected.
