Township Information and Resources: Trash and Recycling carts that were lost during the tornado:
  • Contact the Township Tornado Information Email –
    • Provide your name, address, phone number and what carts are missing (trash/recycle/yard waste).
  • Until Public Works can replace your missing cart, please leave bagged trash and recyclables at curbside for pickup
  • Tornado impacted residents please leave debris curbside in three separate piles:
    • Construction (i.e. Wood, Roofing, Insulation, Furniture)
    • Yard waste (i.e. brush, tree limbs, shrubbery),
    • Metal/Electronic (i.e. televisions, appliances, etc.)

  • American Red Cross Assistance has a mobile unit at the Mullica Hill Branch of the Gloucester County Library parking lot, 389 Wolfert Station Road
  • New Jersey Red Cross is accepting donations to assist impacted homeowners from the tornado at
  • U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Low-Interest Disaster Loans
    • For small businesses, those engaged in aquaculture and nonprofit organization
      • Loans up to $2 million for any combination of property damage and working capital needs.
      • Loans up to $2 million are available for working capital needs even if there was no property damage.
    • For Homeowner
      • Up to $200,000 is available to repair or replace their primary residence.
    • For homeowners and renters:
      • Up to $40,000 is available to replace personal property, including vehicles.

  • Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) set-up a mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Mullica Hill Branch of the Gloucester County Library parking lot at 389 Wolfert Station Road
    • Will be open from 9am to 6pm daily
    • Documents that you need to provide FEMA
      • Proof of identification
      • Insurance determination letter
      • Proof of occupancy or ownership

    • The following must be provided for representatives at the DRC top process your claim:
      • Take photos of damage to your home and belongings
      • Make a list of damaged or lost items
      • Must file a claim with your insurance company first
    • FEMA will not aid for losses covered by insurance
