Dear Fellow Resident,
Today, we gather with family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving. The day offers an opportunity to pause, appreciate, and give thanks for the blessings in our lives.
As I reflect on my own gratitude, I feel especially blessed for the partnership, encouragement, unwavering support, and love of my wife, Lori, and for the pride and joy I have in my stepson, AJ. Thank you, Lori and AJ.
I am also grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. It is an honor, and I am fortunate to do so alongside my fellow Township Committee members and our dedicated municipal team. Your commitment, leadership, and hard work make Harrison Township a wonderful place to live, work, and raise our families.
As you celebrate the upcoming holidays, please take a moment to remember those who may be facing hardship, and consider offering support where you can.
This weekend also marks the unofficial start of the holiday season, and with it, our township’s cherished tradition, Lights on Main, check out all the festive details. This Saturday, Main Street transforms into a holiday wonderland as the Best of Gloucester County event returns. The festivities include the lighting of the Harrison Strong Christmas Tree, officially kicking off the season here in the Hill. I hope you will join me for an evening of celebration and community.
On behalf of Deputy Mayor Lawrence Moore and Committeemen Jeff Jacques, Kevin French, and TJ Coakley, I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and gratitude. We hope to see you on Main Street this Saturday.
With gratitude,
Adam Wingate
Mayor, Harrison Township
