Recreation’s Aquatic Program offers a variety of group sessions designed to teach safe water practices and develop swimming skills for children 6 months to 7+. Parent and Me sessions introduce children from 6 months to 4 years old to the water with the support of a parent. Beginner and intermediate swim classes are available for children ages 5 to 7, teaching the four basic swim strokes and breathing techniques. For children 7 and older, the Developmental Swim Team provides the camaraderie and excitement of being part of a swim team without the pressure of competition.
