Gloucester County has contracted with Pierson Construction to perform bridge improvements throughout the county.

On or about June 6th, work will begin simultaneously on the following two bridges. The Clems Run Road Bridge over Clems Run at Kincaid Lake south of (CR 618) Harrisonville Road and the Clems Run Rd Bridge over Miery Run north of (CR 618) Harrisonville Rd. Traffic will not be able to cross these bridges.

The following Detours will be required:

  1. A detour of (CR 623) Clems Run Rd. The road will be closed at the bridge and will not allow any vehicles to cross. Southbound traffic will be detoured left onto (CR 618) Harrisonville Rd to right onto (CR 609) Richwood Rd and right onto (CR 622) Ewan Rd. The northbound traffic will be detoured on (CR 623) Clems Run Rd right onto (CR 622 Ewan Rd, to left onto (CR 609) Richwood Rd to left onto (CR 618) Harrisonville Rd. The detour will be in effect until July 31, 2022, weather permitting.
  2. A detour of (CR 623) Clems Run Rd. The road will be closed at the bridge and will not allow any vehicles to cross. Southbound traffic will be detoured left onto (US 322) Mullica Hill Rd to right onto (CR 609) Richwood Rd and right onto (CR 622) Ewan Rd or further south to a right onto (CR 641) Ellis Mill Rd. The northbound traffic will be detoured on (CR 623) Clems Run Rd right onto (CR 641) Ellis Mill Rd, to left onto (CR 609) Richwood Rd to left onto (CR 618) Harrisonville Rd or further north onto left at (US 322).

Detours will be directed within the road closures with signage.

All residents and businesses will have access to their driveways.

These detours will be in effect until July 31, 2022, expected completion weather permitting.
