This weekend, we celebrate Harrison Township! Kicking off the festivities is Sip, Savor, & Social on Main, a new event tailored for adults. Taking place on Main Street, this gathering invites friends, neighbors, and guests to enjoy libations from local breweries and wineries, delicious food, an array of live music, and shopping. The celebration is tomorrow from 4 PM to 9 PM and promises to be the perfect prelude to a weekend of community. Thank you to our Mullica Hill Business Association for hosting this exciting new event. Adding to the excitement, on Saturday, Harrison Township Day is set to return to Ella Harris Park. While the event has been held on Main Street for the past few years and provided great fun, with our treasured park as the backdrop, we’re afforded the opportunity to create an old-fashioned community carnival. And boy, has our Recreation Coordinator, Sharon Chew, taken full advantage of the location with a host of family fun activities. What has become an annual tradition, the celebration concludes with our annual firework display. A well-deserved thank you to Sharon, our many volunteers, and our Recreation Commission board.
