Dear Fellow Residents,

Monday marks a day of celebration for Christians worldwide, and here in Harrison Township. The Christmas holiday comes with many traditions ranging from festive decorations to family and friends sharing meals, laughter and of course…presents!

Our family’s holiday tradition, now four generations strong, includes gathering around the Christmas dinner table, feasting, and telling “remember when…” stories. In raising our now adult daughters, my wife and I tried to instill the same love for family and joy of traditions that we had as kids.

As we all immerse ourselves in this festive season, let us also remember those in need. I am continually inspired by the generosity displayed by our residents and our community’s commitment to helping others never ceases to amaze me. It is during the holiday season that our Harrison Strong spirit shines the brightest.

On behalf of Deputy Mayor Julie DeLaurentis, Committeewoman Michelle Powell, and Committeemen Jeff Jacques and Lawrence Moore, I wish you, your loved ones, and our Harrison Township team a Merry Christmas.

Together for Harrison Township,
Lou Manzo
Your Mayor
