The Raccoon Valley Girl Scouts are teaming up with GotSneakers for a sneaker drive fundraiser running through May. The troop earns much-needed funds for every pair of sneakers collected.
The Raccoon Valley Girl Scouts are partnering with GotSneakers, a sneaker recycling organization, for a sneaker drive fundraiser running through May. The sneakers collected will help raise much-needed funds for our local troop and keep shoes out of landfills.
Did you know an estimated 600 million pairs of shoes end up in America’s landfills every year? Yet 100% of them can be recycled—and most can even be reused!
Here’s how you can help:
Start by checking your closets for sneakers you no longer need. Then, simply drop them off at any of our collection locations throughout May.
