Science Saturday – Friends School of Mullica Hill

On Saturday, March 12th, 2016 from 10AM-2PM Friends School Mullica Hill will be hosting its first “Science Saturday,” an on-campus science education event open to the public. Interactive learning stations will be set up throughout the gym providing children with fun, hands-on learning opportunities. Some of the many stations will include:
* Build-a-Barge: Create a barge from aluminum foil that can support a cargo and predict the weight it can support before taking on water.
* Paper Choppers: Build paper “choppers” (rotary flying devices) that use only the materials provided.
* Skeleton Test: Test your knowledge of human bones on a full-size skeleton model.
* Tower Constructor: Construct the tallest and most stable tower using only the provided materials. “Science Saturday” is a public event that is open to all ages. It is a wonderful opportunity for kids to interact, explore, learn and have fun. Invite your friends and family!
