Piano Day Recital

Observed on the 88th day of the year to honor the piano’s 88 keys, Piano Day is celebrated worldwide. This year, Richwood joins cities across the globe with a special recital featuring three exceptionally talented young pianists, Edward Ojard, Samuel Cronk, and Conan Yang, presented by the Harrison Township Historical Society.
Ojard will perform a selection of works by Mozart, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Stravinsky. A gifted musician who began playing at age three and composing at four, he has earned recognition in prestigious competitions, including an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Cronk and Yang will present a captivating four-hand program featuring works by Mozart, Lutosławski, and Ravel. Both have earned accolades in solo and duet competitions.
All three musicians study under Rowan University’s Veda Zuponic and represent the next generation of emerging artists.
Admission is free and made possible through support from the Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
