John Paul Jones in the American Revolution

Join the Gloucester County Library System for a presentation by Commander Thomas Thurber of Lt. Trevett’s Marines, discussing the life and legacy of John Paul Jones, one of the most recognized naval figures of the American Revolution.

The program will explore Jones’ role in the Continental Navy, his leadership during pivotal naval battles, and the lasting impact of his contributions to America’s fight for independence. Attendees will also gain insight into the Revolutionary War-era Marines and naval operations connected to Jones’ campaigns.

This program is sponsored by the New Jersey Library Association and the REV250 Grant as part of ongoing efforts commemorating America’s 250th anniversary. Please register in advance.
