For the 4th consecutive year, 6-year old Mullica Hill resident, Austin aka “Austin the Backpack Buddy,” is collecting brand new backpacks and working with a local 501(c)(3) organization, The Unforgotten Haven, to provide backpacks to children in need in our local communities so that they can start school with the dignity they deserve.
The goal he set for this year is his biggest yet: 1,000 backpacks! You can find more information on the Austin the Backpack Buddy Facebook page, including Amazon and Target wish lists that allow you to ship backpacks right to Austin. Or, if you prefer, you can drop off backpacks through August 20, 2019 at Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group or D-Signed for You, both on Main Street in Mullica Hill. Thank you for your support!
