ARRL Field Day

The Gloucester Amateur Radio Club invites the community to explore the exciting world of amateur radio during ARRL Field Day 2026. This free event, open to the public, will take place Saturday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gloucester County Amateur Radio Club clubhouse, located at 235 Bridgeton Mullica Hill Road in Mullica Hill within the Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds.

This annual nationwide event brings together licensed ham radio operators to demonstrate how radio communication can operate independently of phones, internet service, and traditional infrastructure during emergencies.

Visitors can experience live radio demonstrations, see temporary communication stations in action, and learn how amateur radio supports emergency response efforts during disasters and public service events. Club members will also showcase how radio operators can communicate across the country and even around the world using portable equipment and emergency power systems.
