About Us
Joint Land Use Board (Zoning)
Zoning is administered by the Harrison Township Joint Land Use Board (JLUB). Before signing a lease, contact the Board to confirm requirements and ensure compliance. Verify that your business type is permitted at the proposed location, as a zoning permit may be required for a change of use or a new tenant.
Fire District
You must register your business with the Fire District and pass an annual fire inspection to obtain and maintain your Certificate of Occupancy.
Construction Department
Contact the Construction Department if you plan to renovate, install a wall, or modify electrical or plumbing systems. Permits are required after receiving Zoning approval.
