Dear Harrison Township Resident,
I am thrilled to invite our community to come together for the Smiles4Cures Hot Chocolate Run, an incredible event supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Organized by three inspiring Clearview High School juniors, Grace Calhoun, Lily Pedersen, and Rachael Williams, this event is part of their ambitious effort to raise $50,000 to fight blood cancers.
The event will take place at Chestnut Branch Park (rain or shine) on Saturday, March 8th. The 5K Run will start at 9:00 AM with the 1-Mile Walk beginning shortly after. Whether you’re a competitive runner or simply want to enjoy a walk with neighbors, this is a great way to show support. All registered participants receive a custom race T-shirt, and the morning will feature hot chocolate, music, and community spirit.
Beyond participating, I encourage you to donate and spread the word. The Smiles4Cures team is making a real impact, and it’s inspiring to see our youth leading the charge for such a meaningful cause. Let’s rally together as a township to support their mission and stand in solidarity with those affected by blood cancers.

Together we will make a difference,
